Calaveras - Skulls - are an important part of pre-hispanic and contemporary Mexican culture. You can see skulls and skeletons throughout Mexico, especially when we celebrate our cultural holiday, Dias de los Muertos (Days of the Dead). I made these dangling beaded earrings on a loom with the traditional size 11 seed beads. They have bronze and dark jade stone beads, too.
