Turkish towels (or peshtemals) have been used for centuries in hammams, the traditional Turkish baths, where bathing is a slow, relaxing ritual rather than a quick, daily need. Care: Turkish cotton will get softer and more absorbent the more you use and wash them. We recommend gentle machine washing in warm or cold water with similar colors.
